Talk me down! I want Bread!

I'm getting ready to make homemade cinnamon-and-walnut yeast bread for my mom-in-law (Hubby takes my bread, some of my goat milk cheese, and a dozen of our home-laid eggs on Tuesdays). I'm so stressed out from my marriage problems, my Kid taking an hour to eat a bowl of cereal, and finances (and, of course, my diet) that I'm about to make a second loaf of the bread. Maybe adding chocolate chips to it, and eating it. How many calories is in a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread? Only 2 tablespoons of sugar. 2 tablespoons of walnuts. I'll only add 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips. Using whey instead of water (leftover from the cheese I just made for mom-in-law).

Could I eat a half a loaf? Probably. And send the rest of the loaf with Hubby for lunch and breakfast tomorrow.

It's all I can think about.

It's a stress thing. My blood pressure is up, and I'm popping out with zits. Me! I'm getting close to 50 years old. Geez.

I want comfort food, and I'm afraid if I don't get something, I'll obsess about it all day.

Step away from the bread!! That bread will not solve your problems, so take a walk instead, put on some music or do something else that you like.
You are doing so well.

I totally agree with Lynn! Step away from the bread! Take a walk instead or perhaps a long shower. ;-) Hope I stopped by in time!

Hey I probably can't help you with the marriage thing or the finances but maybe the kid issue. I agree an hour is to long. Did they not want to eat it and you said you must or? Maybe hey if you don't want to eat, then fine don't. But you get nothing till lunch. Kids and their battles of will.... grrr!

I feel like I'm close to 50! Does that count? lolz
