Spent most of yesterday away from our little farm. My Kid had a psych eval that was 1 1/2 hours away, took 6 hours, then errands on the drive home.
Breakfast: protein shake, rice chex cereal with milk, coffee
Lunch: handful of almonds, few sips of tea
Dinner: walnut pesto, turkey and provolone sandwich with lettuce and tomato, tart cherry juice
NOT enough. Forgot to pack an appropriate lunch, and enough to drink. Didn't want grains but was exhausted and grabbed the quickest thing (dinner from health food store).
Came home to find another chick dying: was trampled while we were gone. Died within an hour.
But, at least I'm trying.
