Another Loss!

I've been weighing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays since I Re-Started this Getting Healthy Plan in June 2010. Starting next week, I'll only post my weight on Thursdays because I'm changing up this blog a little bit.

But meanwhile.... I moved a lot over the past two days. I ate the right amount of calories (for me) and kept my carb intake under 40 a day. It shows.

217.4 !!! A loss of 1.6 pounds since Tuesday!

I'm NOT starving myself. Like I said, I'm eating calories (Look at my page above "My Low-Carb Meals" to see what I eat) so I'm not being unhealthy. I'm eating bread (my gluten-free low-carb version). Getting plenty of protein, calcium, veggies (or V8) and even a little fruit. But I **am** moving more.

Sure makes a difference, doesn't it?

I'm having so much fun working on the new direction for this blog that I kinda forgot to work on stuff this week that actually pays! And I realize in the evening that I haven't done much for my Kid's schoolwork so I'm up till 11:30 or so doing that. I GOTTA figure out a better schedule. Between trying to keep our livestock dry and warm, harvesting veggies, getting things ready to move potted veggies indoors for the winter, schoolwork, my work, reading blogs, writing my blog, exercising, making cheese, working on recipes ... I'm getting lost!

Gotta find a balance.

At least it rained a little yesterday. It's been sooo very dry this Summer (can you believe it's Autumn? Finally?) Didn't rain buckets but enough so we didn't need to go out and water the squash and peppers and tomatoes and eggplant and so forth.

But poor chickens and goats ... their housing isn't keeping the rain off very well. Maybe we'll actually finish them this weekend. Along with everything else.

We need another 5 pairs of hands. Anyone want to volunteer? You'll get free room and board (mostly goat milk things, eggs, veggies, millet, quinoa, flaxbread, etc).

JK.

Congrats on the loss! I wish I lived closer - I would love to help take care of critters every day! Although I suppose that my cat and dog are enough of a challenge for the time being :)

Congrats on your progress! I know what you mean about not enough hands. I need more hands and another car and driver. :)

Thanks Scuttle. Relaxed and recovered from trip? Feeling ok?

Cammy: If you help me muck and build, I'll be your spare driver! Deal?
