Day 47 Sat Weigh In. Gain.

Argh! This allergic reaction (not helped yet, by the way) has added a pound to me! Ok, so maybe it wasn't the allergic reaction to mosquito bites. Maybe it was adding those extra calories. Maybe I need to go back down to 1200. I weighed in this morning at 239.0 ... NO!!!

Breakfast: 3/4 cup flax/amaranth cereal, 1/2 cup vanilla goat milk, 1/2 cup sliced strawberries, 1 egg scrambled with 1 tsp grated colby/jack cheese and 1 tsp walnut oil

Lunch: An Amy's Roasted Veg Rice Crst Pizza, 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese

Dinner: 1 green bean picked fresh from the garden, 1/2 little yellow squash picked from the garden, 1 tiny pickle-size cucumber picked fresh from the garden (can you tell I harvested today? ... we split everything!), 1 inch-long carrot grown indoors (!), 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 1/2 cup garden salad, 1,000 island dressing, 1 1/2 pieces bacon, 1 boiled egg, 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips

Carb: 117.2
Fat: 79.6
Calories: 1486.7

Up and milked/strained/made vanilla drinking goat milk (1 gallon). Fixed breakfast. Let the chickens out, then put the goats in their "zones" so they "weeded" while I weeded the backyard (and garden) (2 solid hours of weeding should count towards exercise, right?). Tied up tomato and eggplant plants. Checked on my zucchini and squash (more should be ready tomorrow!). Late lunch and applied sun-burn goo. Worked on my Kid's schoolwork while Hubby did some more mowing on our 2 acres and while my Kid vaccuumed. Took the goats back to their pen and collected eggs. Worked more on schoolwork while Hubby finished mowing. Moved 1 chicken to the "adult" pen, and fed the chickens tortillas. Harvested 5 green beans, 2 yellow squashes and 2 small pickle-size cucumbers which we split for dinner (except my Kid doesn't like cucumbers unless they are pickles!).

I'm tired. I hate hunching over the computer for long periods of time. And I'm getting a little depressed about the weigh-in. I'm thinking about reducing my calories again. We'll see.

Meanwhile, tomorrow we gotta put together another chicken pen, go to the library, and work on more of my Kid's schoolwork.

Keep in mind your weight loss is dependent on more than just your calories - how much you are drinking that day, what time you weigh-in, your digestive system, etc. Don't let one gain ruin your motivation! :) After all, you can't lose every week or no one would like you anymore hahaa
