Another Weigh-In?

Don't you just love scales? Not. But this morning, after I wrote the blog posting at 5:58 a.m. (with a weigh-in of 278), I went back to bed and kinda slept from 6:30-7:30, then up getting kid up and finding a new math workbook to start today. By the time I got to the bathroom at 8:30, I realized I needed to, er, go. But I'd left the scale there on the floor. I finished my biz and thought oh what the hell, I'll weigh again before I put the scale back.

276!

What is going on? Was it going to the bathroom again? Was it the 3 hours between the first weigh and the second? Was it the search for a math workbook that worked off enough calories (well, one can hope!)? Was it the extra sleep (again, one can hope!)?

So.... I like this second weight. Gonna change my stats to show 276. I only weigh on Mondays, so from now on, I'll weigh when I'm up with Hubby at 5:30 a.m. and again when the Tween gets up to start the schoolday at 8/8:30.

Yippee!!

Yikes! That's a new diet trick. I'll have to figure out a way to incorporate it into my daily routine. :)

It was probably all of the above. I've learned over the past year to not weigh until just before breakfast. That gives the body time to get rid of a few extra ounces in the bathroom :o)

It's amazing how much our weight fluctuates throughout the day. I weigh in late afternoon, because that's when I'm at the gym and I don't have a scale at home. It's just a point in time kind of thing. :)

I can't believe how different I weigh from the morning and then at night. It is crazy. Keep up the good work. You are doing great.
