Okay, I'm back. I'm mostly over the illness, just a bit of headache left, still weak and a little achey, still stuffed-up... BUT I'm back. I just didn't have the energy to do much of anything. Tween got so far behind in schoolwork because of our family being hit so hard with this virus but we got caught up by late Friday afternoon. Got behind in business, chores, errands, and pretty much everything else.
I spent the last two weeks drinking lots of juice and other liquids that are not on my health plan, and eating comfort foods (also very much not on my health plan) while not exercising except to let the dogs out the backdoor. Well, yesterday I started working on our Spring garden.
Unbelievable, I just weighed myself. 278 pounds. I only gained two pounds!! When I say only - believe me, I was expecting 10 or 15 since I totally blew everything off and just did what I could to feel better.
So... here's to a new day. Back to:
-only healthy drinks
-moving as much as possible
-reducing eating out
Went to physical therapist last week - maybe some of the exercises he gave me for my shoulder will help me overall too. And thinking that since it'll be in the 70's most of this week, maybe we can take a bit of a walk or work more in the Spring garden when I need a break from sitting on my butt writing.
