Love this ... here's my new breakfast:
decaf instant coffee
little pure vanilla extract
whey protein powder
Mix. Add boiling water and mix again. Add ice later when the cup is half full to get iced coffee.
Delicious! Got a little jolt of caffeine, tastes good, and is protein. IF I have time, I might add a piece of fruit but for now, it'll have to do.
Ooooh... gonna add a little cocoa powder next time for a mocha frappe.
Hmmm... wonder if I can mix the dry ingredients together and take to the hospital with a bottle of vanilla. Perhaps the nurses will lead me to some hot water? (Kid goes in the EEG ward in less than 2 weeks and we will be there for several days.)
p.s. I'm still dropping a tiny bit by tiny bit. Have lost 5 pounds since 11/19/12.
