I KEEP FORGETTING TO BLOG

First, my computer develops a MEAN virus (do NOT use S.M.A.R.T. CHECK because it's a virus!!!). Took lots of money and time to get that cleaned off and believe me, I'm thinking it's still not completely gone.

Second, my son's service puppy is backsliding and has become a typical teen: rebellion. After being outside for 30 minutes, inside, 5 minutes of playing and bam ... does his biz right on my kitchen floor. Dug up a rose bush outside. Chewed my son's slippers. ARGH! So he's going bye bye for the week my son is in the hospital.

Getting things ready for my son's stay in the hospital (continuous EEG and video to see if we can figure out what part of the brain that's got the seizures originating. He, AND I, will be staying in that hospital room. At least I'll have a reprieve from time to time, but if I ask them to feed me too, its $7 a tray. Either I can go down to the cafeteria when my husband drops by (can only take half day from work but needs to care for the livestock and water our seedlings) OR I can pack in my food. We have a cooler that plugs into an electric socket so here's what I'm taking for my kid and I:
-bottled water (us)
-organic individual plain milk (us)
-grape juice (son)
-V8 fusion (me)
-almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and pistachios with salt (son)
-pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and pistachios withOUT salt (me)
-dried fruit
-packages of precut carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, etc (us)
-potato chips (son)

Why do I feel like I'm missing something?

We're also taking clothes, of course, games, puzzles, Uno cards, nintendo player, schoolwork, and handheld DVD player with DVDs from the library, and this laptop. Oh, and books.  Gotta have books! Will pack these on Saturday.

Sunday is Earth Day. We'll be going into town to get our free cloth bag at Vitamin Cottage (as usual) and stocking up on our food for the next day. Come home and stuff into the fridge until early Monday. Gotta leave early to check in by 10.

Well, it's almost time to leave for his one class at the high school. Boy this really messes up my schedule. But we do almost anything for our children, don't we?!?!

I hope everything goes smoothly and you are able to find the seizure source. Good luck!
