WEATHER WEIRDNESS

We have gotten 6-8 inches of HEAVY WET SNOW since yesterday morning. Still coming down. I'm going nuts, trying to keep the inside chicks dry and warm, but more importantly, trying to keep the outdoor chicks, chickens and goats dry, warm, and not crushed by the heavy wet snow on the unsupported tarps.

Meanwhile, I had a pot roast in the crockpot so I can get back to doing low-carb thing but when it's this cold and wet, I just want carbs. Bread. Cereal. You know, comfort food.

So ... gonna put the pot roast in the freezer and munch on some cereal with a side of hot cocoa-and-coffee before I go outside and see if we have frozen dead critters.

Unbelievable.
