Thanks so much for the comments to yesterday's post, and the e-mails. I appreciate the support for both my getting-healthy plan, and what I'm going through with my son.
I did slip last night but that's to be expected. I never had been able to do a 180 change in my eating. Ever. So dinner last night was two buns with a total of 4 falafels, hummus, and tzitki sauce. And 5 dark chocolate hershey kisses. Not too terribly bad, tho.
Breakfast today was bacon. I had put it in the crockpot last night on low .. my kid's (and mine) fav way to eat bacon. I woke up with a migraine so after I cuddled with the kid, ate my bacon, and tended the livestock, I came inside and took meds.
So ... lunch was late, just now in fact. I had a few cherries leftover from yesterday, and a protein bar. Drank some tea with some more meds. I'm gonna check on the livestock, collect eggs, fry a couple for the kid and me (he's in the shower right now), and then go back down for a nap.
I hate migraines.
I know. I know. It's stress. Take care of me first. But it's easier said than done.
Yet another delay

I honestly started back on my writing, while preparing to get the house
ready to sell and monitoring my son's epilepsy ... then it happened.
Another lump ...

Hope you feel better! It's almost the weekend!
Tell me how to do bacon in the crock pot. Does it get crispy? Or does stay limp? Just curious as that would be such a clean way to fix it and I et the smells would be terrific.
I hope your migraine got better. I share them too so understand the feelings.
Take care and have a blessed evening.
I'll post about the crockpot bacon tomorrow. And yes, it makes the entire house smell bacon-y without having all the grease lingering in the air.
Yum!
mmmmmmBACONmmmmmm :D
