Day 54 Sat Weigh In and LOSS!!

Up at 8 to milk. Milked the goat, strained, refrigerated. Went out to let the first pen of chickens out, hooked up the goats to free-browse in the backyard but away from my corn and garden! Filled up everyone's water, then headed in to shower and weigh. Woo-hoo! I weighed in at 234.2 ... a loss of 2.4 pounds since Thursday, and total loss for the week of 4.8! Again... woo-hoo! After dancing around....

Breakfast: 1 cup Mesa sunrise cereal, 3/4 cup frozen berries, 3/4 cup goat milk, allergy medicine!

Worked around the house. WOrked on plans for 2 new winter-proof chicken coops and re-doing a third. Moved construction materials around. Then lunch...

Lunch: 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter, 3 tablespoons homemade goat cheese, 9 rice crackers, 2 chunks cantaloupe

Made some phone calls and headed into town. Library. Home Depot where I hefted 20 cinder-blocks (that counts as exercise!), 6 poles and various other things. After loading the trailer, went to new friend's house found by craigslist who is selling stuff she inherited when she bought the house. Loaded a truck topper into our trailer and lots of pine boughs (a delicious treat for our goats). Home, milked the goat, strained, refrigerated, and got dinner (from crockpot):

Dinner: 6 oz pot roast, 2 tablespoons of bbq sauce (trying to duplicate the taste of ribs ... success!)

Pasteurized milk for drinking (and because son loves me adding vanilla to it) and cleaned the kitchen while Hubby started watching DUNE. Don't get me started. Then ...

Exercycle: Burned 100 calories in 10:21 minutes.

Couldn't go any further. Need to start earlier in the day. Went downstairs to do another load of laundry. Then back upstairs to watch more DUNE (ugh.. I hate that movie) and get something more to eat.

Bet you can't guess.

Go on. Guess.

What else did I grab to eat?

Give up?

That's right ...


Dinner 2: 1 bowl of puffed rice cereal with 1 cup frozen berries and almost 1 cup of goat milk .. yum!

Came in to blog, calculate calories, and get myself revved up. Have 200 more calories to go on the exercycle and it's already 8:47. Ok. Will take a drink of tea and go do it.

Exercycle: burned 200 calories in 19:56 minutes.

I'm tired. Gonna grab the laundry from the dryer and fold while Hubby rides for 30 minutes (copycat!!) then gonna wash off and go to bed. Have a good one, all!
