Trying Times

Sorry I've been gone so long. The contract on the house fell through. The prospective buyers brought their agent, their parents and two inspectors for the inspection, and left in their wake a destroyed door, trash, and things tossed here and there. So our house is back on the market, after two wasted weeks.

But... here's what I ate today:

Breakfast: Yogurt
Snack: pluot (plum/apricot)
Lunch: pumpkin seeds, another yogurt, an avocado with rice crackers
Dinner: egg salad, potato chips, 1/2 yellow squash from my garden, 7-8 baby carrots

Been drinking instant tea all of today.

I really screwed up my health these past few weeks. Besides the broken toe, I've really drunk anything I could get my hands on to cool down, and ate anything I could find money for. I didn't get much exercise, except running around the house, cleaning for a spur-of-the-moment showing.

But I want good health again.

I'm so sorry the sale didn't work out! Statistics show that there are normally 3 offers on a house (and 1 offer for every 12 showings). It'll happen.

Sorry about the sale falling through - I know that must be so frustrating!

Good on ya for getting back to eating well - you will feel so much better for it.

Crossing my fingers for you that your house sells soon!

Thanks Lori and Shelley: I have to get a positive attitude about this.

But... the longer it takes, the longer our little family is separated, which is NOT good for the marriage!

Ok.. positive thinking. The house will sell. The house will sell. The house will sell.

So sorry about the sale of your house. In this market too.

It's really hard to keep on track with eating when there is so much other stuff going on.

I hope it all turns around!

How frustrating! And I can't believe they broke things and messed up the place, that's just inexcusable!

But it's great you're trying to get back on track and focusing on your health.

That's frustrating about the house. But don't let it drive you to unhealthy behavior.
