Roller Coaster

As you know, the contract to sell our house fell through. So after wasting 2 weeks with those people, we put it back on the market. After another week, we got another offer, but it was a real low-ball offer - $28,000 less than our asking price. We countered, they countered, we re-countered, they re-countered, and we laughed. We're not going to pay someone $10,000 to take our house! We're not in foreclosure or THAT desperate.

That's 2 offers in 4 weeks.

Yesterday we had 3 showings. As I typed my blog posting from Village Inn, a man was in our house and loving it. Last night our agent called and said he made an offer. We countered this morning, and he countered. We accepted. So, once we sign all of these papers, we have another contract on our house.

Let's hope this one goes better.

But on the eating front ... my stomach was still messed up last night so I had another greek yogurt before bed, and another one this morning for breakfast. Just now for lunch, I had tuna salad with rice crackers, and a cantaloupe. I've also had 3 bottles of water, and it's ony 12:30! That's good. Well, for me.

I hope, hope, hope for your sake that all these showings will pay off, or the people will up their offer!

Take it easy with your eating.
