Right close to 24 hours since I've had processed (non-organic) foods, and I'm going through major withdrawal symptoms. I'm sweating and shaking and have a headache. This is hard. Is this what drug detoxing is like?
I'm craving chocolate and cherry cordials and a huge Fuddruckers cheeseburger and ice cream and a Big Mac and cheesecake and even iced tea, and know I can't have them. I'd have to start all of this over again.
Makes me truly wonder what is added to processed foods to be so addictive. Did the food industry take a cue from the cigarette industry?
Yet another delay

I honestly started back on my writing, while preparing to get the house
ready to sell and monitoring my son's epilepsy ... then it happened.
Another lump ...

oh, sounds horrible but don't give up! One day soon I'm going to scale way back on my processed crap too - in June. Until then, I'm watching & observing. Thanks for sharing your journey!
hang in there! I didnt know there was such a withdrawal reaction from such foods. I ditched almost all processed foods a while back but didnt notice any issues.
Stay strong Vee!

I have to agree with you on all counts. I have those same withdrawl symptoms when I've been on that stuff. I think they must put a little crack in that stuff.
Deborah: Absolutely 100% agreed. I feel like I'm coming off prescript pain killers. I hope it ends soon.
Jen: I don't plan to give up because there's no way on this earth that I want to go through this again... start over again.
TJ: Maybe you didn't notice the symptoms because you didn't have as much in your system. Or maybe you were more busy. Or maybe we ate different things. I glad you didn't. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
Thanks for all of your support. I desparately need it right now. Vee
Going cold turkey is going to be tough, you probably are processing quite a few toxins which is why you feel bad.
You will feel better soon, keep up the good work, it is worth it!
