Saying Goodbye to Love Ones is Very Hard

I can't take care of them any more. The puppy is too strong and big, and the chihuahua is too jealous. It is too much for me, so Hubby is coming up to get them in a few minutes to take them to a local no-kill shelter. Tween understands why. I can't seem to stop crying. Vee

Your post brings back memories of a time in my life when my husband was traveling all the time, my kids were little, and the pets sometimes were the proverbial straw that broke my back. I feel for you, Vee. Hope you have a better day today.

"hugs" that's a very hard decision to come to!

(((hugs)))

It is hard, but you have to think of the happiness of the dogs as well as your own home dynamics. I am sure the wee doggy will find a new home soon.

I sympathize. Hopefully, a good home will be found for the little cutie.

It is so hard to let them go, but you are making a great decision and hopefully someone will give them a great life.

You did the right thing by the dogs. It's so hard to do that...I have had to rehome two cats myself. It broke my heart and I felt guilty, but both of them ended up in fantastic homes. Hugs to you.
