Raw-Food Gluten-Free Behavior-Changing DeToxing Diet Plan

Geez, just the title of the post makes me think this project is HUGE! But, as you know, we're doing this "If Man Made It, We Ain't Eating It" diet/project to see if we can detox my 12 year old who shows major behavior problems when exposed to certain foods and toxins. It's kinda like the Feingold elimination diet, but going a bit further. And meanwhile, maybe I'll lose weight and get healthy!

Note that each day starts with an apple - that's to get our digestive system up and running. It will take about 20-30 minutes to get it out of the stomach. In addition, our drinks are filtered or distilled water, unless I use the juicer for fresh organic fruit, like oranges.

We're going to do this for the rest of May. Then in June we'll start to add in (one at a time): organic corn, organic wheat, organic nuts/seeds... to see if he really has problems with these or if it was the chemicals and additives and preservatives.

Ok... time to go make today's flax/potato crackers!

Wow!! What organization. Guess it's important when planning a specialized diet, tho'. Kudos to you for tackling this in such a straight forward, go get 'em attitude. You are to be commended. Best of luck to you both.

Good luck! That's a huge endeavour you are undertaking! I hope it helps your son.

Be careful about dried fruit. It tends to have a ton of sugar in it.
