Thanks to all who gave happy birthday wishes! I did enjoy those donuts, knowing I won't be eating them again for another year. I even let Tween have a few donuts, which goes against the no-wheat, no-sugar, no-processed foods I've had him on for a while.
His behavior problems escalated by night-time, but for the first time, he recognized and acknowledged it. Before he went to bed, he made up a list of his daily schedule so that he can better follow his plan.
At bed, I drank one of those mini-bottles of wine, and toasted myself and a better year than the last.
Then, this morning, I got up, and had a banana and an apple for breakfast. Except for the residual post-sugar-lethargy, I feel good!
Yet another delay

I honestly started back on my writing, while preparing to get the house
ready to sell and monitoring my son's epilepsy ... then it happened.
Another lump ...

Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoyed! Sorry I didn't get to your blog yesterday!
That's really good that your son realized the correlation between his attitude & his food. Even though most of us may not have the same results to such a severe degree, I think a lot of our food can correlate to how we feel!
