Uh... Mondays and my Million Things-To-Do

Was working so hard on trying to get enough money to pay bills that I just didn't feel like writing on this blog. Sorry.

Just a short accountability: I stayed basically with my life/health change plan, took my meds, took naps, took care of family and dogs, didn't come up with a new habit this week because it was gonna be "drink more kagome"!, edited a book that's now listed on Amazon.com's Kindle (as of last night), still on period that's heavily increasing (yes, an e-mail is now into ob/gyn), did eat a little more dark chocolate because of my hormones (yep, blaming them), refereeing arguments between Hubby and Tween, searching for time for myself, and ignoring the piles of laundry, the sinks full of dirty dishes, the cleaning that's being ignored by everyone.

Sidenote: No matter who works outside or inside the home... why are the women/wives/mothers ALWAYS the one to make sure there's clean dishes and clothes, the trash gets taken out, someone's asked to do the vacuuming (or just does it), etc.? Can't a man or child EVER just look to see if something needs to be done?

Okay... I'm better and now you're caught up. I'll hopefully be back on track tomorrow, but have to edit another 2 books to get listed on Kindle tomorrow, pay bills, help Tween with schoolwork, go to the grocery (ah, do I have to?), do a load of whites in the dungeon, do another load of dishes in the kitchen, take a long shower (hm! yeah, right!), and take a nap.

But ... for now.... I have two dogs in their crates in the living room whining to be let out-out, fed, and played with. And it's only 5:15 A.M.

I need a nap.

Busy, busy, busy!!

I often wonder how in the world you guys do the blog stuff with all the other things in your life filling your days.

In my first marriage the husband thought that all things related to the house were to be done by me. (I was told by his mother to steal his dirty clothes in the morning so he'd put on clean ones, but I refused go that far.)

My second hubby always helped with everything during the school year (I was a teacher) but by my own doing I did it all during the summer. So I think it is all in how they were raised.

Wow, sounds busy!

And I've never understood the whole women doing most of the household chores thing. I don't know how you gals put up with it. In my mind, I'd just insist they do their share, but I assume it's not that simple!
